The theatre does not have its own car park however our city centre location means we are surrounded by plenty of parking locations with the most convenient being St. Stephens Green Q-Park which is situated opposite the theatre.

Patrons of the Gaiety Theatre can avail of discounted parking in Q-Park Stephens Green. Open 24 hours and conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from the Gaiety Theatre.

To avail of a 25% discount on your parking, you need to book your parking online before visiting the Gaiety Theatre https://www.q-park.ie/en-gb/cities/dublin/st-stephens-green/  and use promo code GT25 to avail of a discount on your parking.

Alternatively, you can avail of a Pay on Arrival rate of €12.00 for parking from 5pm -3am. You must prepay your parking at any pay station within 15 minutes of arrival *This offer is only available at the car park and not to prebook*

There are numerous bike lock-ups and cycle lanes around the theatre. The theatre is also well serviced by Dublin Bikes with many stations located nearby.

The Gaiety Theatre is located in Dublin 2, close to St. Stephen’s Green at the bottom of Grafton Street – all taxis will know where we are!

There are two taxi ranks located in the vicinity of The Gaiety Theatre. For patrons travelling southbound, there is a rank situated at the St. Stephen’s Green end of Grafton Street. For patrons travelling north of the city, there is an alternative rank located at the Trinity College end of Grafton St., located near the famous “Molly Malone” statue.

 

Dublin Bus has over 30 buses which reach St. Stephen’s Green on their direct route travelling from all over Dublin and Wicklow.

The most convenient DART stations to reach The Gaiety Theatre are either Pearse Street Station or Tara Street Station. Both stations are a 10-minute walk from the theatre.

Both Connolly Station and Heuston Station are accessible by Luas.  While both stations do have their own stations, it is necessary to disembark the Green Line Luas at O’Connell Street and take to take the red line luas to either Connolly or Heuston Stations.
