The theatre does not have its own car park however our city centre location means we are surrounded by plenty of parking locations.

St. Stephens Green Q-Park is situated opposite the theatre.

Best Car Parks St. Stephens Green is situated within a two minute walk to the Gaiety Theatre, with the entrance to the car park located on Glover’s Alley.  Book online with Best Car Parks at The Fitzwilliam Hotel to avail of our special Gaiety Theatre discount.  To avail of this discount please enter promo code ‘GAIETY’ when pre-booking the evening rate.  Pre-bookings can be made on the same day you wish to attend the show. Dawson Street Q-Park, is about 5 minutes’ walk from the theatre. Its entrance is off School House Lane.  The carpark has 370 spaces which can be reserved in advance for an evening show or a whole day (24hrs). Spaces can be pre-booked up to midnight on the day before a performance. It is not possible to make an advance booking on the same day. Early booking is strongly advised. An evening rate of €10.00 is applicable, from 5.00pm – 09:00am, when booked in advance, or on arrival at the car park. A 24 hr rate of €38 is applicable when booked in advance. The car park is €3.80 per hour.

There are numerous bike lock-ups and cycle lanes around the theatre. The theatre is also well serviced by Dublin Bikes with many stations located nearby.

The Gaiety Theatre is located in Dublin 2, close to St. Stephen’s Green at the bottom of Grafton Street – all taxis will know where we are!

There are two taxi ranks located in the vicinity of The Gaiety Theatre. For patrons travelling southbound, there is a rank situated at the St. Stephen’s Green end of Grafton Street. For patrons travelling north of the city, there is an alternative rank located at the Trinity College end of Grafton St., located near the famous “Molly Malone” statue.

 

Dublin Bus has over 30 buses which reach St. Stephen’s Green on their direct route travelling from all over Dublin and Wicklow.

The most convenient DART stations to reach The Gaiety Theatre are either Pearse Street Station or Tara Street Station. Both stations are a 10-minute walk from the theatre.

Both Connolly Station and Heuston Station are accessible by Luas.  While both stations do have their own stations, it is necessary to disembark the Green Line Luas at O’Connell Street and take to take the red line luas to either Connolly or Heuston Stations.
